Data collection: CommUnity OS does not collect, store, or transmit any identifying information. No names, emails, phone numbers, or government IDs are stored. Community posts (discussions, needs, proposals) are public and stored by the community backend. Evaluations use anonymous cryptographic tokens — one token per evaluation, cryptographically unlinkable to your identity. The data that does not exist cannot be subpoenaed, breached, or weaponized. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no server-side logs. There is no database. This is an architectural constraint, not a policy choice.
Not professional advice: The information on this platform is general in nature. It is not legal, medical, financial, or tax advice. The benefit screener provides estimates based on published federal guidelines — only the program agency determines actual eligibility. The health calculators use published clinical formulas for screening, not diagnosis. The dispute letter generator creates template letters — consult an attorney for complex cases. Always verify information with the relevant agency or professional.
Data sources: All data comes from named, verifiable federal sources (Census Bureau, CFPB, EPA, HHS, IRS, DOL) and municipal open data portals. Data is not modified. Annually-updated figures (poverty guidelines, minimum wages, EITC limits) are current as of the version date shown on each tool.
Availability: This platform is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or completeness. External APIs (Census, CFPB, EPA, HMDA) may change or become unavailable without notice.
