The calculators below are published risk tools maintained by their respective source organizations. We do not run these calculations on this site. Click through to the authoritative source to use the tool; your results stay between you and the source page.

These are screening tools. They are not diagnoses. If a result concerns you, talk with a licensed clinician. Free or low-cost clinics near you: HRSA Find a Health Center.

❤️ 10-Year Cardiovascular Risk (ASCVD)

About this tool. The American College of Cardiology's ASCVD Risk Estimator Plus uses the 2013 ACC/AHA Pooled Cohort Equations to estimate your 10-year risk of a heart attack or stroke. The tool is designed for use with a health care professional who can help interpret results in your specific context.

Who should consider using this. Adults 40–79 without a prior cardiovascular event, talking with their primary care provider about prevention. The underlying equations were developed for non-Hispanic White and non-Hispanic Black populations; the ACC's guidance page explains applicability and limitations for other groups.

What the score means. A percentage representing statistical risk across a population — not a prediction about you personally. Interpretation depends on your medical history, family history, and preferences. That is a conversation for your clinician, not a web page.

🩸 Type 2 Diabetes Risk

About this tool. The American Diabetes Association publishes a short risk test (7 questions, about 60 seconds). Over 96 million American adults have prediabetes; most don't know it.

Who should consider using this. Anyone wondering whether they should ask their clinician about a fasting glucose or A1C test. A higher score on the ADA test is a reason to have the conversation — it is not a diagnosis.

⚖️ Body Mass Index (BMI)

About this tool. BMI is one number among many. It doesn't measure muscle, bone density, fat distribution, or metabolic health. It is a starting point for a conversation — not a verdict. The CDC's calculator is the standard reference.
